BPTP Limited has come on board as the Titanium Sponsor of the Faridabad Half Marathon 2.0, a district administration-led fitness event that will bring thousands of runners, families and fitness enthusiasts to the Surajkund Mela Grounds on September 27.
The marathon, built around the themes “Run for a Cause” and “Drug-Free Haryana”, will feature a 21.1-km AIMS-certified Half Marathon, a 10K Timed Run and a 5K Fun Run. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is expected to flag off the event.
For BPTP, the sponsorship also strengthens its association with Faridabad, where the real estate developer has built a substantial residential and commercial footprint.
“Faridabad has been an integral part of BPTP’s growth journey, and we are proud to support an initiative that brings the city together around fitness, wellness and community participation,” said Manik Malik, CEO & President, BPTP Limited.
He said the marathon provides a platform for people from different walks of life to come together for a wider social cause and encourages a healthier and more active lifestyle.
The September 27 event is expected to draw participation from across Faridabad and the wider NCR, with runners, students, families and other residents taking part in the three race categories.
BPTP has delivered 38.63 million sq ft, or about 3.86 crore sq ft, of development in Faridabad across high-rise apartments, plots, villas, commercial spaces and community sites.
Its latest Faridabad project, WA VANA, is a premium gated residential precinct in Sector 80 within the company’s integrated township. The project is based on the Japanese philosophy of Ikigai and is positioned around wellness, sustainability, nature and intergenerational living.
The company’s Skynest project in Sector 80, Greater Faridabad, comprises 504 residential units and 20 dedicated Sky Nests, along with landscaped spaces and wellness and leisure facilities.
The marathon sponsorship comes as Faridabad continues to see a growing calendar of public fitness and community initiatives, with the district administration using the event to combine mass participation in sport with the drug-free Haryana campaign.
