Chandigarh launches e-Sampada App for faceless Property transfers, title checks

e-Sampada CHD

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has launched e-Sampada CHD and a Faceless Service Delivery portal, bringing property title searches, No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and ownership transfers online in Chandigarh.

The initiatives were launched ahead of a Samaadhaan Shivir at the Ram Darbar Community Centre. Deputy Commissioner-cum-Estate Officer Nishant Kumar Yadav, IAS, outlined the new system, under which property owners, buyers and legal representatives can submit applications and supporting documents online.

The Faceless Service Delivery portal will handle applications for property transfers, conveyance deeds and NOCs without requiring applicants to visit the Sector 17 Estate Office. Submissions will be routed electronically to the concerned branches, with applicants able to track the progress of their files until disposal.

The e-Sampada CHD mobile application is aimed at prospective buyers and property owners. It provides access to verified property records for preliminary title checks, information on outstanding financial liabilities, file-status tracking and online grievance registration.

The app is currently available on the Google Play Store, while its iOS version is expected to be released shortly.

“These two initiatives mark an important step in our effort to make property-related services simpler, faster and more transparent for every citizen of Chandigarh,” Yadav said.

He urged citizens and real estate stakeholders to use the new platforms, saying the administration would continue to expand digital governance in property-related services.
