Realty shares climbed for a fourth straight session after the Reserve Bank of India held the repo rate at 5.5 per cent, keeping borrowing costs steady through the festive season.
Analysts said the pause, the fifth in a row, removes the near-term fear of rising home loan rates. DLF, Godrej Properties and Oberoi Realty led gains on the Nifty Realty index.
